MAVIR Zrt. is a Hungarian Electricity Transmission System Operator that ensures the efficient operation of the Hungarian electricity system by managing and developing network assets, carrying out necessary renovation work, maintenance and upgrades to secure reliable power supply. It also coordinates the operation of the Hungarian electricity system with networks in neighboring countries, prepares grid development strategies and makes proposals for the development of the power plant fleet.
