A few months have passed since I started in my new role at Navitasoft. Yet, to be honest, writing my first year-end letter as CEO still feels completely different from the project reports I’ve written for the last 15 years.
First off, it is an honor to lead this award-winning team, but I will not pretend it isn’t a weight, too. When you move from managing delivery to managing the vision, you have to let go and rely on your people to continue in the direction you started together.
I am humbled by the trust the board and my colleagues have placed in me. But mostly, I am grateful for a team strong enough at its core that leadership can focus on our future direction.
So where are we going?
An amazing recognition of our efforts came in just days before the holidays. We won the Partnership for Sustainability Award 2025 awarded by the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine for delivering and securing NPC Ukrenergo’s Market Management System. Delivered together with our partners Smartech and Siemens, this is not just a digital system, but a foundation of resilience during one of the most challenging times in modern European history.

Another recent example is the BBCM project, where we and our partners at N-SIDE delivered a platform that was essential for the Baltic TSOs Augstsprieguma tīkls AS, Elering and Litgrid to meet their countries’ goals of sustainability and energy independence. This undertaking demonstrated what we do best: understanding complex energy market requirements, combining them with a modern, robust IT infrastructure, and delivering exactly what the customer needed with speed - and precisely within the budget.
BBCM itself was part of a larger triumph in project excellence, as the broader Baltic Synchronization program - which severed the grid from Russian control and linked it to Europe - has been named Project Management Institute (PMI)’s Project of the Year.

If these and other events of 2025 taught us anything, it’s that the line between the IT market and the energy market has officially dissolved. We used to talk about them as separate silos. Not anymore. As we look at the figures for Q4, this convergence is reshaping everything we do.
There is a lot of noise in the market right now - AI here AI there… and the new "Manhattan Project" of our time: Genesis Mission. The US data center market is projected to hit 40 GW of power demand by 2030. That is the equivalent of adding the entire energy consumption of Spain to the grid in just five years.
But while the world looks at what AI will be able to do, we are looking at how to power it.
This explosion in computing power means the renewable sector must explode to match it and that is where we come in. The rebound we expect in 2026 will focus heavily on the physical reality that AI needs energy, and energy needs software to manage it.
Where does Navitasoft stand in this new reality?
2026 will be an exciting year, with several new projects signed and soon to begin. At the same time, quality of support services with existing partners is a top priority - as always. After all, in critical infrastructure, the initial delivery is just the start; success nowadays is defined by ongoing reliability and scalability.
It is a commitment to our customers’ trust in us that we don’t simply monitor systems and react to problems; we work hand in hand with customers, defining long-term roadmaps to manage upcoming challenges and opportunities together whether it’s related to IT, security or energy business.
The team behind our success
Our experience shows that success depends on strong, well-executed methodology. That is why nine of our colleagues are currently earning advanced certifications in DevOps, project management, and business analysis. We are investing in the brains that keep the grid safe.
At the same time, we give thanks to our innovative customers and partners, without whom we could not deliver successful projects like those above.
And finally, we are bringing that same care to our community by launching a new Corporate Social Responsibility program in 2026. We are planning charity team-building events, working with a large Hungarian charity organization to support social institutions.
Because whether it's balancing a grid or supporting a community, it still takes people to keep the lights on.
Looking forward to a strong year ahead in 2026.
