In June 2019, Navitasoft was awarded the GEAR project (Gáz Elosztó Allokációs Rendszer, or Gas Distribution Allocation System in English), which aimed to modernize MVM ÉGÁZ-DÉGÁZ Földgázhálózati Zrt.’s commercial allocation application with a new, modern solution that would fit into the company’s IT architecture while better addressing the challenges faced by the Distribution System Operator (DSO). According to the framework agreement, the Navitasoft Data Suite for DSOs was to be customized with scrum methodology. The new system, which went online on December 1, 2020, enables the management of tenant changes and supplier switches, the operation of multiple allocation processes, and the adaptation of market and regulatory challenges. The system will also be able to handle the future integration of a unified measurement data collection system for the entire MVM Group.
