CEEGEX is the Hungarian national gas exchange. It is continuously growing and recently it extended its product portfolio by offering short term standardized balancing products. This introduction posed many challenges to the previous operation: off-hours and weekend operation had to be introduced and new functions had to be developed within CEEGEX which were until then provided by the Clearing House.
We helped CEEGEX to meet these new requirements:
We developed a back office solution that provides automated standard product creation, communicates with Ceegex's Trayport trading screen, performs partner limit handling, calculates daily prices as an input for imbalance settlement, produces nomination data, communicates with the TSO for sending nominations and the prices for imbalance settlement, and communicates with the Clearing House to synchronize partner limit data.
