Navitasoft joins smartEn
Smarte Energiewirtschaft: Navitasoft wird Mitglied bei smartEn

What makes the transition to a green future so exciting is that everyone can play an active role in it. Unlike in the past when electricity was delivered from only a handful of producers through a fixed infrastructure, today both individuals and businesses have the opportunity to make a contribution to supporting what is becoming an increasingly renewables-based energy system and to accelerating the clean energy transition. The association smartEn -  Smart Energy Europe empowers energy consumers and drives the decarbonization of the sector, and we take great pride in announcing that Navitasoft recently became a member.

As a leading European business association to promote initiatives for distributed energy resource (DER) management and market models that support demand-side response, smartEn backs the integration of consumer-driven solutions that further the energy transition. Our membership will help us increase the visibility of our Energy Market of Things (EMoT) platform and rely on the smartEn network to improve our solution further and ensure that it is compliant with all European energy markets. In addition, we are confident that our membership will provide an excellent opportunity to establish local partnerships. We also aim to take a more active role in EU initiatives and extend our partner network in order to find collaborators for cross-European R&D projects.

This is how our CEO, Ákos Füzi, summarized the benefits smartEn membership offers:

“Since we started out, we have been active members of many trader and gas industry associations, complementing expert debates on the digitalization challenges those sectors are facing. We are now seeing an urgent demand for mid- and low-voltage networks to integrate small capacity prosumer assets, which impacts everything from physical infrastructure development to regulatory incentives to market design and business model quests. By contributing to smartEn working groups through participating in debates on the EU level, we can help shape the creation of a more democratic, decentralized energy market.”

Over the past 14 years, as an IT consultant and energy solutions provider, Navitasoft has worked with all types of stakeholders - TSOs, DSOs, regulators, traders, power plants, VPP operators and, most recently, energy communities - in 16 countries, gaining unrivaled energy market IT experience. We have a strong vision of what the European energy market should look like by 2030, and how EMoT can remove the barriers that stop common end-users from accessing the energy market.

smartEn has a unique network and can ensure immediate access to European policy making, enabling us to be directly involved in expert debates. It also allows us to exchange ideas and experience with fellow members, among them leading stakeholders of DER management and demand side response management solution providers.
